DESCRIPTION
Inspired Fish is a full scale cooking installation designed beneath the Twin Fish Island Bridge, developed through site research, structural prototyping, and iterative design refinement.
The project explores the relationship between fishing, waiting, and slow cooking, translating the ritual of “Buddha Jumps Over the Wall” into a spatial and structural narrative. Through multiple abandoned schemes and structural testing, the final design adopts a modular mortise-and-tenon timber system, forming five interrelated construction components.
This project emphasizes professional architectural drawing standards, including site plans, sections, elevations, detailed joinery drawings, and construction scheduling. The work demonstrates my ability to transition from conceptual illustration to precise technical documentation and buildable fabrication systems.
